Victim in two-vehicle crash named
1:45 p.m., Sunday, March 17POLK COUNTY - The name of a person killed in a two-vehicle collision Friday morning (March 15) in Polk County has been released. Terrie D. (Anderson) Giller, 54, of Luck, lost her life when her vehicle slid into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Department, Giller was driving a 1998 Buick Regal, traveling south on Hwy. 87 in the Town of Eureka at approximately 7 a.m. when she lost control on snow covered roads and entered the northbound lane where it was struck by a northbound 2005 Toyota Sienna operated by Tracy L. Mattson, 42, St. Croix Falls. Accompanying Mattson in the vehicle were her three children, Nick, 15, Katie, 11 and Lindsay, 13. All occupants of the Mattson vehicle were taken to SCRMC for treatment of injuries. The driver of the Buick Regal was pronounced dead at the scene. Any updates on this story will be posted here.
