Up for election this year in our area are the U. S. Presidency, a U. S. senate seat, the seventh district congressional seat, a state senate seat, all the assembly seat, and four offices in each county, Treasurer, Register of Deeds, County Clerk, and District Attorney. All the contests are partisan and most of the races are contested.
