by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer OSCEOLA – For the second time in three years the Unity boys basketball team is headed to the sectional final after a thrilling 36-35 win over Colfax on Thursday, Feb. 28, at Osceola. With just 22 seconds to go in the game, the Eagles worked the clock and found their way to the hoop, where junior Zac Johnson fired up a shot just inside the free-throw line that fell short, only to fall directly into the hands of Oliver Raboin, who put the Eagles up by a point with an easy layup. The score left Colfax with just three seconds on the clock that was used to heave desperation shot from half-court that went long. Unity, (17-8) who is a No. 2 seed, will face No. 1 seeded Auburndale (24-1) this Saturday, March 2, beginning at 1 p.m., at the Johnson Field House at UW-Stout in Menomonie.
